  AM2 RIOT SHIELD      
   

A full body shield commonly known as "The National Shield" originally designed jointly with the Metropolitan Police used by all U.K. Police Forces. Generally used in defensive mode.

Manufactured from 4mm thick transparent polycarbonate 1655mm high x 600mm wide. Weight: 6.40kg.

Also available in 1829mm high.




 

    
 
AM2 Arm Support

Photograph shows the arm support foam pad with 2 handles and a hook. This enables the officer to hold the shield with 2 hands with the left arm located in the hook.
 		  


 

 
  AM2 MIDI RIOT SHIELD      
   

This riot shield has the same arm support foam pad as the AM2 (the National Shield) but is mounted on a 1200mm long 4mm thick transparent polycarbonate panel, allowing the officer greater versatility.

AM2 Midi Arm Support

The arm support foam pad with 2 handles and a hook. This enables the officer to hold the shield with 2 hands with the left arm located in the hook.
 		  
 
  A MIDI MK1 RIOT SHIELD      
   

Manufactured from 3mm thick polycarbonate with strengthening bends on either edge running from top to bottom. The suspended arm support pad is attached to the bends providing a gap between the pad and the polycarbonate outer panel which considerably reduces impact shock. The left arm is supported by a quick release clasp and a handle. Can be supplied with a holder for a baton.

The shield is 600mm wide x 1000mm high. Weight: 3.1kg.

 

    
  AD4 RIOT SHIELD      
   

A rectangular shaped shield with strengthening bends on either edge running from top to bottom. The suspended arm support pad is attached to the bends providing a gap between the pad and the 3mm or 4mm thick transparent polycarbonate outer panel which considerably reduces the impact shock on the arm supporting the shield.

The arm is secured by a quick release clasp and handle.

Size 600mm wide x 750mm high. Weight: 2.4kg.



 

  

 
  AQR1 RIOT SHIELD      
   

For use by Officers of Quick Response Vehicles.

Manufactured from transparent polycarbonate 3mm thick x 360mm high x 600mm wide, supported on the arm by a 50mm wide adjustable webbing strap and an angled handgrip with a thick impact absorbing foam pad. Lightweight: only 1.30kg.

EASY STORAGE – a protective holdall is available to store 2 shields per vehicle which reduces the risk of contamination from fluids on cones and signs etc.

AR2 Arrest Position

Manufactured from transparent polycarbonate 4mm thick x 660mm diameter weighing only 2.2kg. Supported on arm with ring and handle. The shield can be retained on arm by ring when arresting (see photo). Supplied to many U.K. Police Forces. Also available with map-holder for senior officers. A protective carrying bag can be supplied with this shield.

Non-transparent, used in an offensive mode.
Supplied to most U.K. Police Forces and Prison Authorities. Manufactured from high impact ABS.

540mm diameter.
Weight: 1.40kg.

Supported on arm with ring and handle (as AR2).

Also available in transparent 3mm polycarbonate (AR3).
 

    
  AR4 RIOT SHIELD      
   

Manufactured from transparent polycarbonate 4mm thick x 660mm diameter, weighing 2.6kg.

The arm support pad is attached at either end close to the outside of the polycarbonate panel providing a gap between the pad and the panel which considerably reduces the impact shock on the arm supporting the shield.

  AC1 RIOT SHIELD      
 


A curved rectangular shield mainly used in an offensive mode. Manufactured in 3mm thick polycarbonate. Size 900mm x 600mm with strap and handle for arm support. Can be supplied with baton holder.

  AC4 RIOT SHIELD      
 


This riot shield is the same as the AC1 Riot Shield except that the arm support pad is attached at either end close to the outside of the polycarbonate panel providing a gap between the pad and the panel which considerably reduces the impact shock on the arm supporting the shield. The arm is secured by a quick release clasp handle.
